Welcome to the Huntsville Canoe Club - based out of Huntsville, AL

The Huntsville Canoe Club was established on January 20, 1980 by a group of people who enjoyed being on the water. Since then we have grown and continue with the original mission of the club which is to share our love of water and paddling and to do that with like-minded people.

HCC is a group of people interested in paddling all types of self-propelled craft - canoes, kayaks, sit-on-tops, and stand up paddle boards - on a variety of types of water. Members' skill levels and experience range from newcomer to expert. Our preferred venues range from local lakes to the whitewater creeks and rivers.

HCC arranges group paddling trips, events, and other activities throughout the year. We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of every month to discuss club activities, events, and to socialize.
